Over a cup of tea…

By Monday, July 8, 2013

If we were chatting over a cup of tea, I’d probably (and unfortunately) tell you how exhausted I am – but happily exhausted! I’ve had a busy two weeks and Kacie was visiting from Toronto on the weekend. Every moment was jam-packed with excitement and fun, and thankfully the weather got better (although is extreme humidity really better? Undecided).

If we were chatting over a cup of tea, I’d tell you how delicious dinner was at Hooch Bourbon House on Saturday night. I am obsessed with bourbon, so it was right up my alley. The dishes were original and delicious! We tried almost everything on the menu (literally) and I had my first taste of high-quality bourbon. My girlfriend Steph helped with the interior design, which is totally awesome. The service and live music was excellent too! I definitely recommend it.

If we were chatting over a cup of tea, I’d tell you I have 100% given up on this season of The Bachelorette. Sorry Desiree… you’re boring. But still pretty.

If were chatting over a cup of tea, I’d tell you how incredibly homesick I’ve been (although I went home twice in June). I miss my parents so bad! Looking forward to going home for one day in a couple weeks for a family wedding. Can’t wait for my Daddy to spin me around the dance floor and to spend some serious quality time with my Mama.

    1. No mention of book club?
    2. I am the only one without a tag – rude.
    3. Hooch was delicious.

      Unfortunately you did :(
Jason is having ACL surgery next week so I had to cancel my week-long trip! I’ll be back for a long time in August or September though and will let you know!
