Memory Lane

By Friday, November 7, 2014

I’m in my fifth (!!!) year of writing this little blog. It’s nuts. I have zero idea where all the time has gone.

When I’m feeling nostalgic, I get the biggest kick out of going back into the archives and reading my old posts. It’s also completely embarrassing to read my old posts. Sometimes I cannot believe I actually put certain things in writing. It’s like going back and reading my old diaries or something! I’ve grown so much, as a cook, woman and writer, over the last four years…

But let’s take a walk down memory lane. Here’s what I was blogging about in November over the years!

In November 2010, I was…

Constantly making Nigella’s Apple Crisp. It was the first one I ever made. So easy!

Sharing the fudge recipe from the Rose & Kettle Tearoom… and made obnoxiously-festive cupcakes.

Making Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies, which is going down again this weekend.

Discovering the best Pork Tenderloin recipe ever! I’ve made it a hundred times.

Refereeing the first Battle of the Soups. Such a good idea.

Figuring cilantro out. I think I’ve got it now.

In November 2012, I was…

Making this amazing tomato soup! Do it. So worth the time and effort.

Utterly obsessed after making the best pasta I have ever had. I’m not exaggerating.

Swimming in mushrooms and udon, apparently. Love this dish.

In November 2013, I was…

Making veggie noodles! I need to do much, much more of this.
