My Halifax Baby Shower

By Monday, April 4, 2016

I’m finally getting around to blogging about my baby showers! To be fair, I was waiting on my sister at Jessica Kent Photography to get me the photos 🙂

My mom and sister threw me a baby shower in my hometown of Halifax at the end of January, when I was approximately 29 weeks pregnant. My parents were traveling for the entire month of February and the first half of March, so we had to do it earlier than we normally would have. They did the most amazing job – a salad bar, sundae bar, and my sister’s decorating skills were Pinterest-worthy with a gold and white theme. The favours were adorable as well. My cousin handled the games, which were cute and funny.

I was so spoiled, and super happy My Other Half’s family was able to make it too. People were really considerate about giving gifts I could easily take back to Ottawa, and everyone brought a baby book in lieu of a card. I even got some French ones, which I’m thrilled about since raising the baby bilingual falls on my shoulders (we’ll see how that goes!).

Here are some of my favourite snaps from the afternoon!
