My Homemade Taco Spice!
Serves: 1 cup, approximately
  • 1 tbsp chili powder (I like half regular, half chipotle)
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika (I sometimes use half smoked paprika)
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp crushed red chili flakes
  1. Mix all spices together in an air-tight container and you're good to go! If you like more heat, double the red chili flakes or the chili powder (but probably not both, until you've tried it at least once). I normally make a quadruple batch of this, so I multiply everything my four. Do whatever you like, as long as the proportions are the same!
